Working in my P.J.'s
So, no slight meant to my co-workers but since I have started working from home my productivity has increased. You don't realize how much time all the little interruptions can take out of your day.

Mmmmmm dual monitor goodness! So I got a new monitor. Half for me and half because I start working at home real soon and using dual monitor for work makes work much better. So the one on the left is the new on, the one in the middle is my old one and the laptop on the right is my work computer. I have a monitor switch so I can switch the middle monitor between my laptop and my desktop. It is sweet, I am in geek heaven.

More on the Revolution controller.
So the new Nintendo Revolution at first glance seems lame to the max. Now watch the Video. I don't want to admit it but... well... it does seem a little cool. Granted they don't show you anyone actually playing a game with it, more a demo of what they envision playing with it might, possibly, sort of, be like, but still. My interest is slightly piqued.
They pull you back in.
So just when I thought I was done with IBM, they pull me back in! I am getting to work at home again. I hate winter, having to leave the house early, in the dark, to scrape windows, and gaaaaa... it's to horrible to even think about. I will save so much money too, less gas, don't have to pay for parking etc. I like working at home is so much it even makes my job seem more bearable. They've bought themselves a reprieve, we will have to see how it goes.

Doctor Jeffries
So I think I might not live past Wednesday September 28th 4:00 PM. You see, I have this 'condition' called Hypo Active Thyroidism so I am supposed to take a pill called Synthroid everyday. When I run out I have to go to get a blood test. The place where I had the standing order for a blood test is now very far away from my house. I ran out of pills.. mmm.... let's just say it was 'awhile' ago and havn't gotten down to the clinic for the test. Might have something to do with laziness but also I hate needles... especially needles that are taking stuff out of me. Seriously, those things are HUGE, and they always have trouble finding veins so instead of withdrawing and trying again they figure the best thing to do is dig around a little until they hit something. But I digress, the point is, I have not been taking my synthroid for too long and when I called my doctor's office to see what needed to be done to transfer my standing order to some place closer to my house the assistant figured out it must have been some time since I had a test because some process had changed. Long story short she said Dr. Jeffries would want to see me before giving a new order, which means he will find out how long it has been since I have had my Synthroid and why (my being stupid) and out of exasperation he might have me beaten by his doctor assistants and dumped out back. I looked up the symptoms of Hypo Active Thyroidism... man there are way more than my doctor told me about, and I can prolly put a check mark beside too many of them... stupid thyroids. I'm betting these all can't be soley attributed to thryoidism though, I mean 'hair loss'? Oooo, lack of motivation, got that one, see post #1 heh. You know what is weird, I have totally noticed my speech being slower / getting toungue tied more often since being without the Synthroid, weird.

Blog-o-rama
Here I am, the most technically savvy of my group of friends and I feel like the last to get a blog. I was planning on doing it for awhile but, being a programmer, felt that if I was going to blog I would create the site myself and host it on my server. Sounds good but I forgot one crucial thing... I'm lazy. I know, your shocked. I've been trying to hide it for years but yes... it's true. I'm lazy. So here is my out of a can blog. I feel kind of dirty for using a blog service, but, well it's a step in the right direction. Who knows what I will put in here, Rico posts a lot of pictures, perhaps I will post drawings and whatnot, we will have to see. Oh, and 5 bonus points for those of you who remember the original Titan's Love Shack.
